when will the technology industry learn… warning this is not for non geeks…
So when Microsoft released Vista they single handedly released the worst most eagerly awaited product ever to hit the tech market… So in the year or two it took them to fix this with windows 7 tonnes of developers started making software for macs in turn bridging the gap between the two.
Macs were no longer for meeja types and moved into the mainstream with every man and his dog wanting one but not neccasarily having one because of the price…
so apple not missing a market that seemed to be growing released a tablet that had access to all of the apps available to every iphone owner and setting the bar using their own apps.
cue thousands of original apps made in months and innovations that were not even thought off by most people.
meanwhile google releases android to critical acclaim. the users loved its ease of use its intergration into google’s ecosystem and choice of hardware. the manufacturers loved the fact it was open they had to do very little work of their own, google even tell them what size and hardware to use.
6 months down the line apple has updated is IOS countless times and google has finally moved from 2.2 to 2.3 and people start piracy and cracking google turns around and anounces a tablet version of android with the same results as before but less success this time. apps didnt convert over well as it was an entirely new OS .. 3.0 and people started complaining of bloatware viruses trojans key loggers…
google in turn gets a little angry decided’s that from now on they will dictate what they can and cant build.
now does anybody think this remind you of OSX Vs Vista
